MIO-CARE TENS is an electrostimulator for pain therapy with muscle building programs for the prevention of muscle atrophy and programs for incontinence.

A truly complete device, capable of solving small problems related to daily pain caused very often by bad posture, long periods spent in the car, or by performing repetitive manual tasks.

The various programs are different depending on the electrostimulation parameters used: pulse width, stimulation frequency, stimulation duration. Conventional tens, for example, works between 70 and 150 Hz, with a maximum width of 50/90 microsec for a time of at least 40 minutes. Endorphinic tens works between 1 and 4 Hz, with a maximum width of 250/300 microsec for a time of at least 20 minutes. The objectives are different: in the first case, an immediate and short-lived reduction of pain, in the second case, a delayed and longer-lasting reduction of pain. This is just an example to clarify that electrostimulators are not all the same: it is crucial, for the success of the treatment, to use well-programmed devices (by professionals) and capable of providing not a high number of theoretical programs but a series of waveforms suitable for achieving the objectives.
