BUT HOW MUCH DOES STREET COMPACT CONSUME?
The measurement was conducted at different speeds (1, 4, and 8 km/h) and different inclines (maximum and medium at 4 km/h), under a constant load of an 80 kg runner who moved with an upright torso, without leaning on the side handrails and facilitating walking/running. The measured data showed that walking at maximum incline reduced energy consumption by more than 50%, and at medium incline by 30%.

In general, it can be noted that the carpet consumes less energy than other commonly used appliances (e.g. microwave oven, hairdryer).
