Elastic ankle brace with a figure-eight bandage and a lateral/medial splint for ankle joint stabilization, particularly for eversions and inversions. Two double-bottom pockets are located on both sides of the ankle brace, allowing for the insertion of up to four splints of varying stiffness depending on the severity of the sprain. This feature, in addition to the figure-eight bandage, allows for the desired degree of immobilization during eversion and inversion movements of the ankle to be adjusted. The brace's stability is ensured by the double front Velcro closure. The first closure securely stabilizes the brace on the ankle, allowing the straps to be wrapped around the foot; the second closure further reinforces the supramalleolar containment effect, without causing a lace-like effect.

CHARACTERISTICS
The two main closure flaps are made of a composite fabric comprising three bonded materials: a Velcro-secured velvet with a high percentage of elastane; a high-density foam with excellent bearing capacity; and C6Tex, which combines excellent mechanical performance with lightness and elasticity. The characteristics of the three materials allow for a highly supportive elastic effect. The figure-8 bandage provides excellent lateral and medial stability and is simple and intuitive to apply using practical Velcro ends that allow for adjustment of the degree of traction exerted by the straps.

APPLICATION
1. stabilize the brace by closing the first two upper flaps
2. Cross the lateral or medial strap over the instep, pass it under the sole and hook it onto the appropriate Velcro strap
3. cross the other medial or lateral strap over the instep, pass it under the sole and hook it onto the appropriate Velcro strap
4. close the two front flaps to maximize the stability of the brace.

MAINTENANCE
Hand wash in warm water with neutral soap; rinse thoroughly. Dry away from heat sources. Contact your orthopedic technician if you experience any problems or need to replace worn components. Do not dispose of in the environment.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
