MalleoLoc is a stabilizing brace for the treatment of moderate to severe ankle injuries. Following severe ankle sprains, ligament tears, or capsular ligament sprains, the MalleoLoc stabilizing orthosis stabilizes the ankle and protects it from further lateral twisting, preserving the normal rolling motion of the foot.

In detail:
After an injury or surgery, or in cases of chronic ligament weakness, the ankle joint undoubtedly requires safety. MalleoLoc protects the ankle from both inward and outward twisting, even during sports, thanks to its asymmetrical plastic splint. This splint fits perfectly over the outer malleolus and behind the inner malleolus, preventing excessive pressure on the ankle. The foot can roll normally, aiding mobilization and healing. If necessary, the in-store orthopedic technician can adjust the orthosis to individual needs.

The inside of the splint is softly padded. A protruding tongue in the sole area stimulates the foot muscles, actively stabilizing the ankle joint. The splint is secured with two crossed Velcro straps.

At the same time, MalleoLoc encourages the body to help itself: despite ligament weakness, it's important to stay active and train your muscles. Thanks to its slim design, MalleoLoc can be worn in any shoe, allowing you to move fearlessly and correctly, promoting healing.

Care and maintenance instructions:
MalleoLoc can be hand washed separately with a mild, alkali-free detergent. To maintain the functionality of the Velcro closures and prevent damage, close the straps before washing. Do not dry MalleoLoc by exposing it to direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, sunlight, etc.).
