The ManuLoc Long Plus is a long wrist, hand, and finger brace: it immobilizes the entire hand up to and including the thumb, stabilizes the forearm, and prevents incorrect wrist movement. The removable finger support allows the fingers to be fixed in the extended or Intrinsic Plus position, thus preventing immobilization injuries. The orthosis is lightweight, breathable, and easy to put on with one hand.

In detail:
Following falls or sports injuries, overuse at work, or surgery, it may sometimes be necessary to completely rest your hand for a while. ManuLoc Long Plus immobilizes the entire hand from the carpal joint to the fingertips, leaving the thumb free. Its elongated design makes hand movement virtually impossible.
The wide finger support can be custom-shaped for different positions depending on your needs, such as fully extended or slightly bent fingers. This support immobilizes the fingers and is particularly suitable for nighttime positioning. The finger support can be removed to gradually increase mobility.
Intermediate openings and ventilation holes allow the skin and wounds to breathe properly. Soft padding protects the delicate skin around the elbow. Furthermore, the ManuLoc Long Plus orthosis can be put on and taken off conveniently with just one hand. Practical stoppers prevent the straps from slipping out of their buckles.

Directions for use:
Post-traumatic (multiple complex injuries in the hand/finger area)
Pre-operative and post-operative treatments, e.g., Dupuytren's disease, metacarpal fractures
Injuries/fractures in the wrist joint area
Carpal tunnel syndrome (severe - nighttime positioning)
Tendovaginitis (severe)
Sprains/bruises
Ligament injuries in the finger/hand area

Care and maintenance instructions:
Before washing, fasten the Velcro straps to the designated areas.
Wash the orthosis exclusively by hand at 30°C using a mild detergent. All components can remain attached to the orthosis during washing.
Air dry the product and not in the dryer, to avoid damaging the product itself.
Do not expose the product to direct heat as this may affect its effectiveness.
Regular care ensures optimal effectiveness. Follow the washing instructions on the label on the top edge of the product.

Please note that the length of the upper forearm must be greater than 21cm to be able to wear the brace.
