The "long" version of the ManuLoc orthosis, the ManuLoc Long is a wrist brace that also immobilizes the forearm area, ensuring greater stability. Three long aluminum alloy splints secure the wrist in an anatomical position and extend along the entire forearm, preventing extension movements.

The targeted protection provided by the ManuLoc long wrist brace helps relieve particularly severe symptoms and pain and supports treatment following bruises or cast removal. The orthosis protects against incorrect and painful movements, maintaining hand mobility and gripping ability.

In detail:
There are disorders and pathologies that require virtually no movement of the wrist joint to relieve pain and speed up the healing process. After cast treatment, for example, it may be appropriate to ensure greater joint stability using an orthosis. With ManuLoc long, you can stabilize the wrist and parts of the forearm without limiting finger mobility.
ManuLoc Long, with its three extra-long anatomical aluminum stays, makes any movement of the carpal joint virtually impossible. The sensitive skin near the elbow is covered in soft padding.
Intermediate openings and ventilation holes allow the skin and wounds to breathe properly, speeding up the healing process. The wide Velcro closures allow the ManuLoc Long to be put on and taken off with just one hand. Practical stoppers prevent the straps from slipping out of their buckles.

Directions for use:
Post-traumatic or post-operative inflammatory conditions, e.g. after plaster cast treatments in case of radius fractures
Pre-operative treatments
Carpal tunnel syndrome (moderate)
Tendovaginitis (medium grade with pain at night and at rest)
Sprains/bruises
Osteoarthritis (medium grade)

Care and maintenance instructions:
Before washing, fasten the Velcro straps to the designated areas.
Wash the orthosis exclusively by hand at 30°C using a mild detergent. All components can remain attached to the orthosis during washing.
Air dry the product and not in the dryer, to avoid damaging the product itself.
Do not expose the product to direct heat as this may affect its effectiveness.
Regular care ensures optimal effectiveness. Follow the washing instructions on the label sewn onto the top edge of the product.

The longer side bars and the central aluminum palm bar with air vents can be shaped as desired.

Sizes:
Please note that the length of the upper forearm must be greater than 21cm to be able to wear the brace.
