The Reacare diathermy device is a class IIb medical device intended for professional (medical) use. It is equipped with a resistive handpiece and a capacitive handpiece, and also has 24 REHAB programs, 10 SPORT programs and the CUSTOM function. The power is 160W, the frequency can be set from 400 to 600 hHz, with modulation up to 100 Hz.

Diathermy: what is it for?
Diathermy is a therapeutic technique used in physiotherapy that uses the characteristics of a medium-frequency sinusoidal current (from 300 KHz to 800 KHz), aimed at producing an increase in temperature in biological tissues crossed by the flow of electrical charges. It can be used to treat a considerable number of pathologies. The main field of application is that of pathologies of the musculoskeletal system: phantom limb syndrome, muscle contractures, edema, lymphedema, acute tendonitis, muscle strains, epicondylitis, bursitis, epitrochleitis and temporomandibular dysfunctions.
