The GenuTrain S knee brace with lateral splints supports the knee joint in cases of mild instability, arthritis, or gonarthrosis. The lateral splints, which can be heated and reshaped to perfectly fit your anatomy, provide a safe guide for joint movement.

The integrated, ring-shaped viscoelastic insert surrounds the kneecap, while the combined effect of the knitted fabric and pad provides an intermittent compression massage that activates the muscles and accelerates the healing process. The combination of the joint splints and strap system provides greater passive support to the knee joint.

In detail:
Chronic or acute injuries to the ligament system, as well as joint disorders such as osteoarthritis, can cause instability. GenuTrain S stabilizes joints with mild to moderate instability and activates the muscles, promoting mobility. The anatomical lateral joint splints provide passive support, guiding the knee and protecting it from incorrect movements. The thigh and lower leg straps ensure a stable and secure fit. The patella is gently wrapped in a viscoelastic functional insert, holding it securely in place.

With every movement, the special Train knit fabric of GenuTrain S, skin-friendly and breathable, delivers a differentiated pressure and compressive massage with high medical efficacy. This action stimulates local metabolism, reducing swelling and pain. The soft popliteal fossa and pressure-reducing edges make the knee brace even more comfortable to wear in everyday life, during physical activity, or during physiotherapy. Furthermore, the two lateral tabs on the upper edge of the joint splints make it easier to don the brace.

Care and maintenance instructions:
The GenuTrain S can be machine washed at 30°C. Remove the lateral joint splints and Velcro straps before washing. Use a mild detergent and a mesh bag. Never expose the product to direct heat or cold. Follow the washing instructions on the label sewn onto the top edge of the product. Proper and regular maintenance ensures optimal effectiveness of the brace.
