The MalleoLoc L3 brace protects the ankle from excessive strain and can be adjusted according to a staged treatment protocol. Thanks to three different levels of stabilization, adjustable based on therapeutic progress and individual needs, the patient can be supported with a single brace throughout the entire treatment.

Using an L-shaped shell and a strap system, the orthosis stabilizes the ankle laterally. An integrated elastic compression ankle brace activates the muscles, further stabilizing the ankle joint. The shell and strap system can be easily removed when significant stabilization is no longer needed. The MalleoLoc L3 provides secure support and can be worn in all footwear thanks to its extra-flat design.

In detail:
Athletes, in particular, often suffer from recurrent ankle sprains and ligament tears. Even in cases of acute or chronic instability of the ligament and capsule system, the ankle requires special support. The MalleoLoc L3 stabilizes the joint with an anatomical L-shaped shell, positioned externally on the lower leg, facing the sole of the foot. A compressive brace made of stretchable, breathable, and skin-friendly fabric ensures high comfort. With every movement, it provides a differentiated pressure massage that helps reduce swelling. The upper and lower edges of the orthosis are made of softer and more elastic material. A zipper makes it easy to put on.

Thanks to the figure-eight Velcro closure, the MalleoLoc L3 is securely attached to the foot and leg. This orthosis holds the foot in its natural position, protecting the ankle from further twisting without interfering with the rolling motion. The level of stabilization can be adjusted based on the stage of therapy by first removing the shell and then the straps. Thanks to its slim design, it can be worn with any shoe, whether athletic or business. This allows you to move freely and correctly, promoting the healing process.

Care and maintenance instructions:
The MalleoLoc L3 label with information about the product name, manufacturer, washing instructions and CE marking is located on the top edge of the brace.
Note: Never expose the MalleoLoc L3 to direct heat (e.g., radiators, sunlight. Do not leave the orthosis in a car)! The material may be damaged. This could compromise the effectiveness of the MalleoLoc L3. To clean the MalleoLoc L3 without damaging it, close the Velcro ends on the strap.
Clean the plastic shell with a damp cloth. The MalleoLoc L3 brace can be hand washed at 30°C or machine washed separately using liquid detergent. We recommend using a mesh bag for washing. Air dry the brace, not in the dryer, to avoid damaging the knit fabric. Wash the brace regularly to maintain the compressive effect of the knit fabric.
