RhizoLoc is a thumb brace indicated for thumb joint injuries such as torn or sprains of the collateral ligaments (skier's thumb), osteoarthritis, rhizarthrosis, and inflammatory conditions. The RhizoLoc orthosis stabilizes the sellar and proximal joints of the thumb, adapting perfectly to the individual's individual structure.
The Velcro tab allows you to limit the mobility of the joint according to the treatment required.

In detail:
In cases of skier's thumb or other thumb joint injuries, arthritis, or inflammation, or in post-operative care, the joint requires stability to allow the stretched capsule and ligament system to regenerate more quickly. In fact, thumbs are usually subjected to more stress than we realize. RhizoLoc safely stabilizes the thumb to relieve pain and promote mobility.
RhizoLoc splints the thumb at the sellar and basal joints using a contourable aluminum bracket. This allows the affected lateral ligaments to regenerate optimally. A special Velcro strap allows for the restriction of movement to be individually adjusted, depending on the therapy requirements.
The breathable material with integrated perforations allows optimal ventilation of the skin, thus preventing sweating and itching. The practical Velcro closure makes it easy to put on and take off the orthosis using the other hand.

Directions for use:
Post-operative and post-traumatic inflammatory conditions
Injuries to the lateral ligament of the thumb, e.g. skier's thumb
Rhizarthrosis (mild grade)
Sprains/bruises

Care and maintenance instructions:
Before washing, fasten the Velcro straps to the designated areas.
Wash the orthosis exclusively by hand at 30°C and using a mild detergent.
Air dry the product and not in the dryer, to avoid damaging the product itself.
Do not expose the product to direct heat as this may affect its effectiveness.
Regular care ensures optimal effectiveness. Follow the washing instructions on the label sewn onto the top edge of the product.
