The orthosis also prevents the progression of malpositioned big toes. A multidimensional hinge allows for customization of the corrected big toe angle. Flexion and extension can be limited in successive degrees.

In detail:
Advanced hallux valgus is particularly painful. Even after surgery, the problems associated with this deformity of the basal joint of the big toe may persist. The joint requires rest to heal and slowly regain mobility.

Before surgery, ValguLoc II prevents the progression of the incorrect position and prevents the risk of further consequences (such as osteoarthritis or incorrect postures of the other fingers).

ValguLoc II features a three-dimensional hinge that allows the orthosis to adapt to the shape of your foot. After surgery, ValguLoc II also allows you to immobilize the big toe at different angles, both in flexion and extension.

It also allows the toe to roll normally, without any immobilization, thanks to the structure of the orthosis that guides and protects the joint. ValguLoc II supports the healing process both during movement during the day and during rest at night. It features soft padding and guarantees high comfort. It can be used on both the right and left foot and, thanks to its flat design, fits into any comfort shoe.

Care and maintenance instructions:
ValguLoc II can be hand washed separately with a mild detergent.
To maintain the functionality of the Velcro closures for a long time and avoid damage, we recommend closing the closures before washing.
Do not dry the orthosis by exposing it to direct heat sources (e.g. radiators, sunlight).
