The Cefar Basic is a stimulator aimed at both professionals and patients who want to use it at home. Cefar has put all its experience in electrotherapy, as well as values such as quality and a design focused on ease of use in a stimulator that covers the main applications for pain relief.

It has two channels so you can relieve pain in two different areas at the same time using the same stimulation channel.

The Cefar Basic is equipped with an automatic lock that prevents accidental amplitude changes. It is also equipped with a stopwatch that, if activated, allows the stopwatch to be turned off automatically after 30 minutes.

It also has a clip so it can be held in a pocket or belt. It uses 2 x 1.5v AA batteries and can use rechargeable batteries.


The programs

The Cefar Basic has 3 preset programs. If a TENS treatment has been prescribed by a therapist, you must follow the instructions he provides you.

Program 1, Conventional TENS
High frequency stimulation is the first choice for the treatment of acute and chronic pain. It blocks pain signals, relieving pain or even eliminating them. It can be used for lower back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, elbow pain, rheumatism, menstruation, amputated limb pain, hip pain, osteoarthritis, and to help wound healing.

Program 2, TENS Burst
Low frequency stimulation relieves pain by stimulating the secretion of morphine-like substances, endorphins. It is effective for arm and leg pain, deep muscle pain or when the high frequency TENS effect does not last long enough.

Program 3, Moderate pulse duration stimulation
Moderate pulse duration stimulation is a type of high frequency stimulation. The length of each pulse varies continuously, giving a very pleasant, undulating sensation. Program 3 can be used for the same symptoms as program 1 or to relieve pain and perform a muscle massage, for example the neck and perform muscle massages.
