The 3M™ Littmann® Classic III™ stethoscope is the most widely used stethoscope by healthcare professionals worldwide. It is indicated for the auscultation of heart and lung sounds for medical diagnostic purposes.
It is equipped with two patented floating membranes, which allow the detection
of low and high frequencies with both sides of the head.
The side with the larger diameter can be used for auscultation on adult patients, while the side with the smaller diameter may be useful for use on pediatric or thin patients.
The pediatric side can be converted into a bell, by removing the membrane, for easier auscultation of low frequencies.
The membrane can also be easily disassembled, for better cleaning of the instrument.
The Littmann Classic III stethoscope provides optimal acoustic detection with attenuation of any possible sound interference.
Versatile bell: The pediatric side converts to a traditional bell, replacing the
membrane with the supplied anti-cold ring.
